Alignment: Purpose Sets the Plumb Line

Consider the idea that there is a divine purpose for your life.

Imagine there is a zero point from which your essence rises. This point establishes your center. In the diagram below, this point is represented by the diamond at the base. From this point radiates your being, temporal identity (the you that was born into your family of origin, into a particular location in time and space), and core life purpose.

The next layer out carries meaning into the minds of those around you, about who you are and the ethos you represent through your principles, convictions, how you think, and how you communicate. Feelings, thoughts, words, actions.... all emerge from your ethos.

Once you take an idea to market, you've established a process. Defining your signature process (your unique way of doing business) can project that meaning beyond your inner circle and into the larger environment, as you express the evolution of your life purpose into a corporate purpose.

Designing your signature process to stay closely aligned with purpose creates exceptional value because people become loyal to the meaning of an ethos that resonates with them.

The concepts in this diagram are sound, having been observed, documented, formed into methodologies, then tested and proven over decades.

Consider that your essence evolves as you live and grow as a human being, up through a maturity continuum, from embodiment of what you believe, flowing into personal expression, up into what your business expresses to its market in a corporate sense, and beyond into impact that shines so brightly as to manifest destiny.

Big concepts, yes. Applied practically, this cohesive philosophy of Laniakea (the wide open heaven) establishes what can endure, possibly for centuries. This assertion is based on observing 100-year enterprises that continue to thrive, and those that failed the test of time due to lack of sustainable ethos.
